Atlantic Center for the Arts: Residency program requires an initial fee payment to become a member of the Center, after which individuals may apply for financial aid.

Bemis Center Residency: Located in Omaha, the Bemis Center offers residencies with support from numerous arts organizations.

Blue Star Contemporary Berlin Residency: San Antonio arts organization partners with Künstlerhaus Bethanien to offer three-month residencies in Berlin, Germany.

Casa Chuck: This residency based in San Antonio is for curators. It is by invitation only. However, it offers a good opportunity to learn about what a research residency might entail.

Chinati Artist-in-Residence: Supporting research by artists of various ages, backgrounds, experience. Exhibition opportunities.

Contemporary Artists Center at Woodside (NY): Residencies are awarded for six months. 90% of accepted applications receive financial assistance, from $50 a week to full cost.

Creative Capital: Creative Capital (a project funding, artist mentor, and advisory organization) has a page that lists upcoming residencies on a monthly basis.

Djerassi Resident Artists Program: Four-to-five week residencies, open to emerging and established artists.

Fine Arts Work Center (Provincetown, MA): Residency fellowships are awarded for 7 month terms; an additional monthly stipend is also available.
